Career

Built in 1915 and put into service in Brabant. From 1920 deployed on the coast as a freight wagon. Remained in service there on the tram network until the cessation of freight transport in 1952. Further deployment between 1952 and 1975 as a work wagon for the "road and works" service. From 1975 deployed as an imitator pack wagon, due to the lack of a real example "in a tourist Standard tram set.

In 1981 technically adapted to be able to drive at higher speeds. From 1994 onwards reduced use as "imitator" parcel truck.

Restoration

In 1975 repainted in Empain yellow to be part of the tourist tram set. In 1981 fitted with roller bearings instead of classic axle boxes to be able to drive at normal speed in the tourist tram set.

These activities were carried out in the workshops of the then NMVB (now De Lijn) in Ostend.

Reduced use since 1994. Repainted in cream in 2000 by volunteers of TTO-Noordzee vzw to serve as a mobile kitchen together with Destelbergen trailer 19545, with the goods wagon serving as a generator wagon.

In 2015 transferred to the VTi in Veurne for complete dismantling.

Completely restored between 2017 and 2019 in a historically correct grey colour. This restoration was also carried out by volunteers of TTO-Noordzee vzw.
