Type SE 9093 (ex-9738)

Two-way motor car with metal body on bogies, part of a series of motor cars specially built for the 1958 World Exhibition. Hence the name S-Expo type.

  • Built in 1957 by the NMVB workshops in Kuregem as number 9738.

  • One compartment with 33 seats in green leather and 77 standing places

  • Controllers type Kiepe

  • In service with the NMVB group Brabant between 1958 - 1978, from 1976 renumbered to 9 093

  • In service with the NMVB on the coast between 1978 - 1981 mainly for short services as a two-way vehicle.

  • Preserved by private individual and fully restored between 1990 - 1996

  • Listed as a historic carriage of "De Lijn" on the Coast in 1996

  • Technical revision in 2019-2020
